CyberFirst Girls Competition

16th Dec 2024

The 2024 CyberFirst Girls Competition was a record-breaking event, drawing in the highest number of participants since it all began!

Over 14,500 girls from across the UK signed up to tackle the exciting challenges organized by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), part of GCHQ. Armed with their wits and some serious tech skills, teams went head-to-head cracking codes, decrypting messages, and solving tricky coding puzzles. The competition aims to spark a passion for cybersecurity and inspire the next generation of women in tech.

Here at The Palmer Catholic Academy, our incredible teams of girls rose to the challenge and absolutely shone, earning a place in the Top 10 Teams for the East of England Region!

To all you amazing, trailblazing ladies—your brilliance has made us so proud! Keep reaching for the stars and soaring to new heights!

Leaders have developed an ambitious curriculum for all pupils. This includes for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
