Student Council

“Students are excellent ambassadors for the impact of Catholic Education on the lives of young people.” S48

We value the opinions of our student body, and in order to empower our students we have a Student Council which gives them a Student Voice.

Meetings run during the year to allow students to voice their views and collectively make a difference to our academy and the local community.  The Student Council involves students from all year groups.

It’s a chance to develop ideas, have discussions and take pride in every aspect of the academy and its local community.

How do we do this:

  • Raise issues or concerns on behalf of a year group or whole school.

  • Display information around the academy of what we are doing and how all students can get involved.

  • Work towards whole school improvement.

  • Meetings during each term enabling members to give feed back to their form and year group.

  • As one voice together, we can make a difference

Leaders prepare pupils well for their future. Pupils are part of a diverse school community.
